As soon as they are fully vaccinated take them for a couple “puppy grooms”, this will introduce them slowly to being groomed and get them used to it. Then groom them regularly to prevent matting and keep their coats healthy and shiny. You will want to brush their teeth, trim their nails, trim their sanitary areas/eyes, clean ears etc in between groomings. I usually recommend a bath every 1-2 weeks. Brush them out as often as possible. When bathing make sure that you don’t get any water in their ears, this can cause ear infections. I like to hold their ears down tight against their head while washing their head. Also keep the water out of their eyes. Then blow dry them so they are nice and warm.
